Working in Private Practice Simon was responsible for the mezzanine portfolio of projects within the Nottingham area. Simon cost managed managed the projects from tender to final account. Five projects of approximately £5 million each with a JCT 2005 SBC/Q contract.

 

 

Undertaking duties within a property development company. Simon managed the redevelopment of this £16 million office refurbishment in Central London managing a team of 4 surveyors. Utilising New Rules of Measurement and an amended JCT SBC/Q 2011 form of contract.

Simons international experience was undertaking work on Floors 107-109 of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai on a FIDIC Red Book form of Contract 1999 and also the RICS published Principles of Measurement International.

Simon also undertook respsonbilities on the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai using the same forms and methods of measurement.

Undertaking  development appraisal, cost plan, contract document preparation, e-tender, applications and post contract administration, Simon was of assistance to a private client working on the Gunnersbury Park Café for COSMUR on behalf of Hounslow Council. JCT 2024 DB contract and a project value of £1.24 million. 

The project was Building Information Modelling compliant.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Working for an Insolvency Practice Simon was responsible for cash flow and retention release maximisation for Durabella Flooring in Ireland to contest a winding up petition. The organisation is still trading.

 

 

Undertaking  development appraisal, cost plan, contract document preparation, e-tender, applications and post contract administration, Simon was involved with the extensive fit out framework of the Esso / Tesco Partnership in 1999 whilst instructed by a top 5 Birmingham based consultancy. The projects were of various sizes, project values and contract types.
